This Chocolate Avocado Lime Mousse really hits the spot when you’re craving something rich, smooth and yummy. I don’t know about you, but I always crave something sweet at least once a day, it doesn’t matter what it is, I just have to have something really good.

This healthy Chocolate Avocado Lime Mousse can be whipped up in 5 minutes. Preferably let it chill for at least 1 hour to thicken. Serve it alone or with coconut yogurt and shavings of dark chocolate. Oh, you won’t regret making it, it’s so delicious!

Avocados are perfectly freezable, simply put the mousse in an ice cube tray and freeze. But why defrost it when you can whiz it up a healthy alternative ice-cream!

Make sure your avocados are Hass and are fairly ripe. If you choose to ripen at home, put them on your window sill for a day or two to soften.

Cacao powder has a milder taste compared to cocoa, either is fine to use but check the carbs...preferably it should be unsweetened. For Keto lovers check out Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa powder, it isn't dutch processed.

This yummy dessert fills you up making it easy to go a few hours without craving food. Sometimes it’s nice to sit back and enjoy a keto meal or dessert that’s completely free-from and vegan. Ingredients:

Step By Step Instructions:

  1. Halve, peel and pit your avocados, put them in your pyrex jug.
  2. Grate the zest and juice the limes.
  3. Add the erythritol, lime juice and zest, stevia, cocoa powder, and salt to the pyrex jug, then blend together using your hand blender.
  4. Serve with a good helping of coconut yogurt and top with chocolate shavings.
