This Keto Bread Loaf is the closest to eating the real deal aka wheat bread. It's easy to make, it looks and tastes good and is super low in carbs.  I can only imagine how many low-carbers, ketoers, and diabetic recipe chasers will benefit from eating this bread.

I first came across this amazing recipe on You Tube, all praise to Diedre's Kitchen, who has bless so many people. She she started her channel March 2016 with only two videos. Since then she hasn't loaded anymore or spoke to anyone. The strangest thing is she doesn't know how many people have shared her recipe and the huge fan following she has.

The first time I made this bread, I followed the recipe and instructions exactly. I was pleasantly surprised how well it turned out. The second time I made this bread, I changed some of the ingredients to make it more free-from. I personally thought the texture and taste was better.

This bread loaf is the best that I have ever made in the low carb range, my whole family love it. It's worth while mentioning that this loaf isn't gluten-free, but is wheat-free and my version is dairy-free.

Though this loaf has 8.60g carbs per slice, it's absolutely minimum, particularly compared to bread bought in the supermarket.

Chef's Keto Bread Loaf Notes & Tips

For best results, it's better to make this keto loaf in a bread machine. If you don't own a bread machine, you can make it by hand, but like any bread made by hand it's more tedious and time consuming.

Instead of a loaf of bread, try using the dough to make bread buns or a pizza base.

I found Xanthum gum wasn't necessary because the recipe includes vital gluten to bind the ingredients together.

Instead of raw honey, I used ordinary cane sugar. The sugar is used to active the yeast so for the sake of one tsp you can avoid the extra expense. If you already have honey stored in your cupboard, then feel free to use it.

The original recipe uses a huge amount of sukrin, in my opinion it made the loaf very sweet. I also found it wasn't necessary to use powdered sukrin. Granulated Erythritol worked just fine.

Himalayan Salt is better than table salt because it's loaded with minerals. But again, if you don't have this stored in your cupboard then use ordinary salt.
