Though we suggest a choice of apple juice or your favourite nut milk, it’s worth while remembering milk will make your smoothie creamier.
This recipe calls for yogurt, you can make your own free-from or buy it from a shop. Check out my Creamy Coconut Vanilla Yogurt Recipe, it's super creamy and goes well with any dessert or smoothie. The shop alternative we recommendation is Coyo Coconut Yogurt.
If you're feeling adventurous, you can change the fruit to strawberries.
If you're on a specific diet such as keto or have diabetes, then you may want to substitute the banana for avocado, don't worry this will not diminish it's creaminess. To keep the smoothie low-carb omit the banana for 1/4 avocado. Avocados have an intense flavour and are denser so a smaller amount is only needed.
